Hank-Just thinking of you and wanted to drop a note onto the Blog. I spoke to Kelly and he mentioned that he saw you. I hope you are not in a great deal of pain and are getting stronger each day. We are all sending out positive "vibes" and hope that you will be back up and chasing after Teddy soon. Much love from the Maguires.

I wanted to write something intelligent for Hank tonight, but that is clearly a challenge for me in any scenario. Then I got distracted and clicked on "Next Blog," and found myself reading about "Muslimah's Wardrobe," which I'm sure is scintillating for most of us, but just didn't seem to hit the mark for me. Fortunately, I did gain some insight on Muslimah's fashion brilliance, so I have that going for me, which is nice.
ReplyDeleteBut, I digress. Hank, hope you're feeling better every day. I'm headed to Portland this week, so you have been forewarned. I will make an attempt to see you -- you now have about 36 hours to get out of town.
Hey Hank,
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better every day. It is a tough road after surgery. I have not seen you since Kendall's graduation a few years back, but want you to know all the Davidson's thoughts and prayers are with you and your wonderful family. I was just in Portland after your surgery and in talking to Janet I think you might have the same cancer Rob had 14 years ago, the same as Robert Urich as well, if it is Synovial Cell Sarcoma. Rob made it through 14 years ago and has not had any recurrances in 14 years, so I know you can beat it as well. If you want to talk to him at any time, please call us - Or write back in the blog or e-mail him rdavidson@hlarch.com I am sure he can give you his insight into his treatment better than I can, I just remember 1995 as being an awfully long year.
Our best thoughts, wishes and prayers to you.
Lynn
Hey Hank, it’s Rivera.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first heard about fight with cancer from DeNeffe I just knew in my heart that you would get through this battle victoriously because of your personal strength and spirit …….. and from the sounds of things it appears that I was right.
You and your family have been in my have thoughts and prayers. I hope your recovery progresses quickly and completely.
As far as myself, I am still living in Boulder, CO, (going on 19 years), but I have been spending most of my time up in Richland, Washington working at the infamous Hanford nuclear site. One of these weekends I’ll make it to Portland and catch up with you and the other Portland boys.
Stay strong and keep smiling.

Hey Murph,
ReplyDeleteDeNeffe and Thalia let me know about your surgery and recovery. I must say you have a lot of great friends, not surprising you old Irish devil! I hope you are able to come to the reunion. Let me know if you would like a local visitor. Cannot believe we live in same city but only see each other at the reunions.
Wishing you the best and good thoughts. I know you have the fighter in you, keep the faith.
