I spoke with Hank last night. He is now home and happy to "breathe some fresh air." As you can imagine, Murph gets a bit antsy cooped up in a hospital room.
He is able to get around a bit on crutches although getting in an out of bed is really hard. Lots of pain still and the docs are working to adjust his pain meds. This is pretty standard for such a major surgery.
He had visits over the weekend as Thalia and Kelly dropped in. Paul saw him on Friday.
Good signs, but a very tough recovery is in front of him...keep him in your thoughts.

Mr. Murphy, I'm glad to hear that you're back home. I'd like to see you next time I'm in PDX. In the mean time, I'd like to ask that you remember that time you challenged this "fat f**k" to a foot race, while in black tie, up 5th Avenue, after a lengthy meeting at the University Club, where we had poured over hours of business. After you've fully recovered, I suggest we try for a re-match. Of course, this time, I'll try not to run you over.
ReplyDeleteHi this is Shelley K with A'Right Finance in Tacoma. Mr. Murphy I've tried to reach you for several years and it really is important that you return my calls. You have seven cars financed through us, purchased through Chuck Bleeg Motors, and all seven loans are in default. In fact, our records show you never made a single payment on any of these cars.
ReplyDeleteYou have few options at this point. Either pay for these cars immediately or we will have no choice but to turn your case back over to Chuck Bleeg for collection. Or rather, his son Paul will be come knockin'. You don't want that. I'd rather run naked through a field of thistles myself. Call me.
