Memorial Day

What a beautiful sunny Memorial weekend. Tons of people crammed into cars and headed for the beach. Can't blame them as it was a great weekend. Can we all finally wear our white pants and shoes?
Remembering the days when we'd all razor clam, eat and meet up till closing at the golf course. Those days were fun.
This weekend we watched all of the frantic traffic squish through Dundee and Newberg and had our own party on the acreage.
Neil turned 15 on May 24 and so a bunch of teenagers played Sardines and hide and seek and would occasionally check in with our adult crowd to roast some s'mores and heat up by the fire pit. They ran the acreage until at least midnight and then hunkered in the game room with XBox Live until 3am.
They were not too happpy about being awakened at noon. Oh to be carefree young and irrespnsible.
Hank, I hope you had fun with your family this weekend as well. Laura V
